Face Detection using Local Binary Pattern

A new approach to detect Human Face From Rotated Digital Images.

Face-detection using MATLAB for Rotated digital images. Face detection from rotated digital images is still a challenging task for computer vision researchers. Various methods are used for face detection from the rotated digital images. For Face Detection Violajones algorithm is used. When we applied a simple viola-jones algorithm on digital images. It was able to detect human faces from digital images only at 19-degree Only.

To solve this problem, We Created a New Face Detection System for face detection from rotated digital images. Using Proposed Face Detector, we can detect faces from digital images from 0-degree to 360-degree. We created a face dataset with frontal images only. And achieved 86% face detection accuracy. We tested the proposed face detector on the LFW Face dataset. We randomly selected images from LFW and tested them on the proposed system. And achieved 86.11% face detection accuracy.
